I have type 1 diabetes and am a true “diabetes nerd,” reading as much as I can in my free time. I loving sharing this knowledge with patients/providers/family/random strangers.

Furthermore, I am an advocate of the sanctity of the patient-physician RELATIONSHIP, which is the foundation to exceptional medical care. I am averse to conveyer belt medicine that has become the norm in our country. You deserve way more than the 12 minutes allotted to you by the mega clinics. Would you trust a barber/ stylist to cut your hair in 7 minutes?

I have a degree in nutrition, graduated from University of Washington School of Medicine, Completed 2 years of residency and fast tracked to fellowship in Endocrinology. I hated it (fellowship) and left early. I am board certified in Internal medicine and pride myself on providing personalized yet comprehensive care to every person I see. I don’t know everything but I know how to find answers if I can’t answer a question.
